ALITA is ALIVE! She was alive before, to be honest, but now we’ve added her into nixos-scale. Previously we have used a storage server called TrueNAS for the past few years. It runs ZFS under the hood (which is the real powerhouse of it, it’s a file system that is super secure and data-integrity minded). We have started testing Alita running ZFS on NixOS as part of our nixos-scale project. For now we’ll only be running our Althatech services on it until we are satisfied with the stability and work out any bugs.
